Bells Cottage is a lovely thatched cobb cottage sleeping four guests in the quiet rural hamlet of Newtown, close to the village of Awbridge.
The cottage itself dates back to the 19th century and it is believed to be one of the oldest dwellings in the village. Features include traditional hand made wood windows, master crafted thatched roof, Clearview log burning stove, brand new fully fitted kitchen. It has undergone a full renovation and is back to its former glory with a modern twist. Due to the nature of an old cottage we are constantly upgrading and refurbishing to keep it nice for our guests.
We have (2021) been inspected by VisitEngland and have been awarded a rating of four star GOLD Award as well as meeting the criteria for their "Welcome Pets!" scheme. A further inspection on the property is due in early 2022.
